Introducing our team and refreshed purpose, values and website

In between the complex and challenging work of ground engineering, we have been busy doing some important work of our own.

Over recent months, we have taken the time to articulate what we stand for, the impact we make and the kind of business we are continuing to build. The result is our refreshed purpose and website, which we are delighted to share.

Since IGE Consulting was founded in 2017, we have grown into a highly specialist geotechnical and ground engineering consultancy, trusted by some of the UK’s most respected and active housebuilders, property developers, local authorities and strategic partners across the built environment.

Our work often starts with complex issues. Challenging ground conditions, constrained sites, contaminated land, mining legacy issues, planning requirements and development risks are part of our everyday world. But behind the technical detail is a bigger purpose: helping to unlock land, support regeneration and create places where people can live, work and do business.

That story is at the heart of our refreshed website.

The new site introduces the team behind IGE, shines a light on the projects we are proud to be involved in, and provides useful insight for clients and partners looking for practical, commercially focussed guidance on geotechnical and ground engineering matters.

As part of the refresh, we also showcase our careers and life at IGE. We are a growing business with a close-knit team, a supportive culture and a genuine commitment to helping people develop.

Many of our team members have progressed from graduate roles into more senior positions, gaining experience across a wide range of projects and learning directly from experienced professionals.

We know that our people are central to the quality of work and success. That is why we are always interested in hearing from motivated, meticulous and ambitious professionals who want to build their careers in a specialist consultancy where standards matter.
