George joined IGE Consulting in October 2026 as a graduate geo-environmental engineer, building on his knowledge and practical experience in the sector.

Since joining, he has been supporting ground investigations and preparing Phase 1 desk study reports. His role also includes ground gas monitoring and garden validation work, giving him experience across both desk-based assessments and site-based investigations.

As a graduate from the University of Newcastle with a degree in Physical Geography, George has previous experience in geo-environmental consultancy and particular knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS) and contamination from historic mining activity.

He enjoys working with the team to understand and resolve environmental challenges, helping meet project needs and relevant regulatory requirements.
